On March 13th, SLMA Radio interviewed Russell Kern of the Kern Agency about a 22 page  preview of his new book, The Eight Pillars of Demand Generation for Revenue Acceleration. The R-word! He actually used it.   In the interview Russell tackles the reasons for developing the Eight Pillars of Demand Generation and Revenue Acceleration.

Basically, Russell said, life isn’t so simple anymore for marketers.  If they are going to create demand, the implied promise is that they will create revenue.  Ah, the R Word that is unfamiliar to many marketers, at least in relation to their everyday work in marketing. 

I don’t know about the book, but the preview is eye opening and so is the interview on SLMA Radio.
